We have already attended two fantastic events this Spring, George Spencer Academy hosted a celebration of women in Leadership on International Women’s Day back in March. Leadership journeys were shared by a number inspirational women including, Dame Susan Jowett and Di McEvoy-Robinson. Those that attended enjoyed networking with colleagues from over 20 different schools and left feeling inspired to continue exploring their leadership opportunities.
The University of Nottingham hosted the second session of their “Pass it On’ project on 28th March, where we joined a group of more than 30 women leaders from schools across the region. We were able to exchange valuable resources and feedback from leadership programmes across the region as well as explore our own leadership strategies and styles during some outstanding workshop sessions on the day. Dr Kay Fuller hosted the event and shared some valuable research findings for the group to pass on to their own networks.
If you have just joined the network, please help inform what we do moving forward by completing the DFE survey that can be accessed via this link. completed surveys help us measure your progress and the impact of network activities. DFE will follow up with you annually.
